What to Expect: Your First Dentist Appointment
For your first dental appointment, you should expect to be here for about an hour. New patient forms are available online for you to fill out before you get here. This will save you the time and hassle of arriving early to fill them out.
We typically begin each appointment by taking dental x-rays if you need them. Images of your teeth should be taken about once a year. Then we will seat you one of our expert dental hygienists. They will ask you various questions about your oral hygiene habits and examine your teeth.
Next, the hygienist will clean your teeth. Last, you will meet with Dr. Dham where she will also examine your teeth to look for various dental problems. There is plenty of time during each new patient appointment for us to get to know you and to discuss any concerns you may have.
