Dr. Uttma Dham is the heart of Westside Dental Center. For more than 20 years, she has been providing exceptional dental care to patients in Plantation, Florida. Known for her gentle approach and dedication to patient education, Dr. Dham takes the time to listen, explain treatment options thoroughly, and ensure every patient feels comfortable and confident in their care.
Committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence, Dr. Dham has pursued extensive continuing education in all aspects of dentistry. She is highly skilled in implant treatment planning and restoration, helping patients restore both function and confidence in their smiles.
Dr. Dham specializes in comprehensive full-mouth reconstruction, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to restore both oral health and aesthetics. Her artistic eye, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence allow her to create beautiful, functional, and natural-looking results for her patients.

Dr. Sawan Malik
DMD
Dr. Sawan Malik is a highly trained and accomplished board-certified periodontist, skilled in all surgical aspects of periodontics and implant dentistry. Coming from a family of dentists, his father being an orthodontist and his mother a general dentist, he spent his life around dentistry and developed a passion for the field at an early age.
Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Dr. Malik graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Micro and Molecular Biology. Dr. Malik earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, where he graduated in the top of his class.
Continuing his education at NSU, Dr. Malik completed an additional three years of specialty training in periodontology and dental implants. Currently, he is an adjunct clinical professor at the College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Manuela Hurtado
DDS
Dr. Manuela Hurtado is a proud Miami native of Colombian descent whose journey in dentistry began more than a decade ago as a dental assistant. That early experience gave her valuable perspective into patient care and sparked her passion for clear, compassionate communication in dentistry. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University in 2019 before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 2024.
With a strong foundation built on both clinical expertise and patient-centered values, Dr. Hurtado is dedicated to bridging the gap between doctor and patient. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where individuals feel comfortable, fully understand their treatment options, and are empowered to make confident decisions about their oral health.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Hurtado is proud to serve a diverse community and help patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles.
