Porcelain veneers are a high-quality ceramic restoration used to disguise and cover cosmetic tooth blemishes. Like a shell, the veneer fits snuggly around the front and sides of the tooth.
Our veneers can be used to address a wide range of cosmetic concerns from improving discolored teeth, to closing tooth gaps and repairing cracks and fractures. Porcelain veneers are made from dental material that reflects light like natural tooth enamel. Dr. Dham creates the veneer to blend in with your natural smile. She will customize the shape and color to your personal specifications so that your veneers blend in seamlessly with the rest of your smile.
Dental veneers can be used to address a single damaged tooth, or they can be utilized for a total smile makeover. They are considered a permanent dental restoration and offer patients the comfort and beauty of a natural smile. With proper care, veneers can last a lifetime.

What to Expect with Porcelain Veneers
Design, create and secure, that is what it takes to receive the smile of your dreams.
The porcelain veneer procedure typically requires anywhere from 2 to 3 visits to our Plantation, FL cosmetic dentist office. Dr. Dham will outline in detail your procedure prior to treatment. Patients will be fully aware of each step of the process before we begin.
During your cosmetic consultation, Dr. Dham will explain the benefits of porcelain veneers for your smile and will provide you with all of your cosmetic treatment options.
During your second visit, Dr. Dham will prepare your teeth to make room for the veneers. A small amount of enamel will be removed from the teeth that will be treated. About 1/2 millimeter is removed from each tooth that will receive the veneer. This prepares the surface for veneers and ensures that your teeth will not become crowded after they are placed.
Then, Dr. Dham will take images of the teeth to use as 3-D molds for the design process. Most patients will receive a set of temporary veneers while their permanent restoration is being fabricated in our high-quality dental lab.
2-3 weeks after their design visit, patients will return to our Plantation dentist office to receive their final, permanent veneers. Dr. Dham will ensure that the patient feels fully satisfied with the appearance of their porcelain veneers prior to bonding them to the teeth. Once Dr. Dham receives final approval from the patient, the porcelain veneers are permanently adhered to the teeth for a natural, beautiful result.
Porcelain veneers are matched to the exact size, shape, and color of your natural teeth so that they are virtually indistinguishable from the rest of your smile. Veneers are stain-resistant and very durable. There are also no dietary restrictions required after veneers are placed. Call or visit our office today if you are interested in cosmetically repairing your smile with veneers.
